Dear Bolton Crossing Families,
As the school year comes to a close, I wanted to share some personal news with you. After 34 incredible years in education, I will be retiring at the end of this school year. While my time at South Western City Schools and Bolton Crossing has been just three short years, it has truly been some of the most rewarding work of my career.
It has been an absolute honor to serve this wonderful community and to get to know so many amazing students, families, and staff members. The connections and memories made here will always hold a special place in my heart. While this is a bittersweet moment, I am filled with gratitude for the opportunity to be part of your children’s educational journey.
Though I am stepping away from full-time work, I hope to stay involved with SWCS in some capacity next year—with just a little less time commitment!
As we enter the final stretch of the school year, I’m excited for the fun and meaningful events ahead—Field Days, Girls on the Run, and the always emotional 4th Grade Clap Out. Together, we will finish strong, continue to grow friendships, and proudly follow the Zappy Way, demonstrating our zappy virtues every step of the way.
Thank you for entrusting your children to me over the past three years. It has been a privilege and a joy. I wish you all a safe, joyful end of the school year and a restful summer break.
With heartfelt appreciation,
Abby Miller
Principal
